Together – cooperation for the development of Mazovia
This was the name of a conference which took place in Płock on February 5, 2010. The objective of the meeting was to create a dialogue and local partnership between representatives of local self-government units, organizational self-government units, enterprises and non-governmental organizations.
Over one hundred guests representing the abovementioned organizations participated in the event. Presentations and discussions related to such issues as: encouragement of entrepreneurship, EU funds, establishment of clusters, special economic zones, economic promotion of Mazovia, loan funds. Conference participants had an opportunity to become acquainted with broad representation of institutions appointed by the Marshal’s Office in order to perform the above tasks. The conference consisted of two parts. The first one concerned presentation of benefits arising from creation of local partnerships and the second one was the panel discussion. The guests of the panel discussion answered questions asked by the attendees regarding partner cooperation, local self-government and non-governmental institutions. The following people participated in the panel discussion: Adam Struzik – Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship, Stefan Kotlewski – Deputy Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship, Jan Brudnicki – President of the Management Board of the Płock Chamber of Commerce, Anna Grażyna Małecka – President of the Management Board of the Mazovian Regional Loan Fund, Wiesław Kołodziejski – President of the Management Board of the Mazovian Loan Guarantee Fund, Marek Palonka – President of the Mazovian Energetic Agency Sp. z o.o., Piotr Popik – Member of the Management Board of the Agency for Development of Mazovia PLC.
The event was co-organized by the Agency for Development of Mazovia, Voivodeship Job Agency Local Office in Płock, Płock Chamber of Commerce, and Regional Center for the European Social Fund in Płock.
