Mazovia Development Agency Plc was brought into being in 2005 by regional authorities of Mazovian Voivodeship.
The Agency’s mission is creating and supporting socio-economic development of Mazovia.
The Agency’s tasks:
- promotion of regional economic and investment potential
- investor service
- promotion of local and regional brands and products
- supporting innovative projects, especially in the field of innovation and new technologies transfer from science to business practice
- initiating projects between public and private entities as well as research centres
- organising trainings and workshops for representatives of local authorities
- promotion of public-private partnership
The priority area for the Agency is serving investors and assisting Mazovian companies.
Mazovia Development Agency Plc realises many initiatives and projects oriented towards the growth of entrepreneurship in Mazovia. In this way it supports the development of small and medium companies through: education and training, administrative help, the organisation of platforms for information and experience exchange as well as making databases used in running a business available. The Agency offers the creation of integrated projects run by experienced professionals.
Mazovia Development Agency Plc is an important partner for territorial government units, in their promotion and work towards local and regional development.
The priority area for the Agency is serving foreign investors. Mazovia Development Agency Plc guarantees all the necessary help, in order to be successful on the Mazovian market, to those interested in working with Polish partners. It makes available databases of the best investment locations and assures direct contact with local government and full service of investment operations. The Agency offers also information on investment conditions, legal regulations and procedures connected with running a business in Poland.
The efficiency of realising investment procedures is guaranteed by the Investor and Exporter Service Centre.
The Centre actively cooperates with Polish companies and one of its main tasks is the creation and updating of regional data according to economic sectors and data bases of companies looking for strategic investors.
A well-developed network of contacts makes it possible to play the role of intermediary between Polish and foreign companies. In order to facilitate cooperation between such entities, the Centre serves trade missions realised in Poland and abroad and enables involvement in economic conferences with the participation of investors and regional government.
