MAZOVIA INVESTOR ASSISTANCE CENTRE
In order to meet the voivodeship needs, Mazowieckie Voivodeship and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency S.A. signed on 22 March 2005 a partnership agreement on the establishment of the Investor Assistance Centre (IAC) in the Mazovia region in the Office of the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The Centre is carrying out a lot of important tasks connected with promotion of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship in Poland and abroad, but principally with establishing good contacts with potential investors.
Activity of the Investor Assistance Centre is mainly aimed at supporting regional development by attracting investors from the abroad. The centre suggests most suitable locations for investments, provides assistance in acquiring public aid and helps foreign entrepreneurs get used to Polish realities. In case of investments in progress, the Investor Assistance Centre is able to guarantee efficient service of foreign investor by offering access to Polish suppliers and sub-contractors.
Since April 1st Investor Assistance Centre operates in Agency for Development of Mazovia PLC.
OUR TASKS
PROMOTION OF MAZOWIECKIE VOIVODESHIP
- promotion of Mazowieckie Voivodeship on international fairs, conferences and others domestic and international events in economic character,
- preparation articles, publications and promotional materials about economy of region,
- collecting the statistic data base concerning the region,
- organization economic conferences with the participation of investors and regional government.
INVESTOR ASSISTANCE
- managing the data base of investment offers,
- investors service,
- supporting the preparation of economic analyses of investment projects.
EXPORT
- promote Mazovian products, trademarks, and production companies and to make it easier for them to develop their trade contacts with foreign companies,
- intermediation in establishing contacts with foreign and domestic companies,
- management of a data base on business entities searching for an investor (presentation information about exporters and their products),
- assistance to trade missions,
- establishing contacts with local entities,
- an integrated trade and promotional platform, in which a system of communication between sellers and buyers was connected with a database of Polish producers – exporters.
